Sunroom collects nothing. No account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no network requests of any kind. There is no server to send anything to.
Sunroom calculates the sun's position on your device using standard astronomical formulas. It does not download sun data, because it does not need to. The app works with no internet connection at all.
If you allow it, Sunroom reads your location to work out the sun where you are standing. That location is used on your device to perform the calculation and is never transmitted, stored on a server, or shared with anyone. You can refuse the permission and use the app exactly as fully by searching an address instead.
The camera view draws the sun's path over what the camera sees, so you can tell what is blocking the light. The camera feed is processed live on your device and never recorded, stored or transmitted. If you capture an image to share, that image is created on your device and goes only where you choose to send it.
Properties you save are stored on your phone. They are not backed up to us, synced, or accessible to anyone but you. Deleting the app deletes them.
Address search and the map use Apple's MapKit. Searches you type are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; Sunroom neither receives nor keeps a record of them.
Sunroom is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, of any age.
If a future version ever collects anything, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the App Store privacy label will change with it.
